Jess and Kaylab were married at the stunning Yering Gorge Cottages out the back of the Eastern Golf Club in the stunning Yarra Valley. We say it was their plan B as there were to marry in the Redwood Forest in Warburton that day but the truth is it was actually plan C. Originally from Brisbane they had booked their big event to be held at a stunning winery in QLD. Then that thing called Covid hit and turned their plans into turmoil.

Jess has two brothers living abroad in France and they had to come to Melbourne to quarantine prior to going to Brisbane for the big wedding, but alas, Jess saw this as a fantastic excuse to just ‘elope’ and marry in Melbourne. Both Jess and Kaylab recently relocating to Melbourne to live.

The boys had their 14 days in quarantine, only being released the day prior but it was all worth the hotel lockdown. Jess surrounded by her brothers and Mum and Dad, Kaylab had his family by his side, along with a couple of friends as well.

Kaylab and Jess stayed the night prior at the amazing Yering Gorge Cottages, even being witness to a lazy wombat doing his early morning stroll across the grass. Kangaroos a plenty, the hair and makeup team – rolled in the drive to pamper Jess prior to the ceremony, which was a beautiful short ceremony followed by photos in that perfect golden hour, and onto dinner offsite with views of the gorgeous Melbourne city from the hills.
